Norman: Nothing special, just a mountaineering magazine.
Cedric: Mountaineering? What for? You don’t mountain-climb.
Norman: Yeah, I know. But I was thinking of giving it a shot.
Cedric: What? Really?
Norman: Sure, lots of people do it.
Cedric: You just never struck me as the outdoors type.
Norman: I know, but I was talking to Brandi, and she’s really into it.
Cedric: Well sure, Brandi’s from Colorado. She grew up in the mountains. You’d be like a fish out of water.
Norman: I don’t think so. I think it’d be great to try something new.
Besides, this magazine has all kinds of tips for beginners.
Cedric: Well, as long as you’re not jumping off the deep end.

Norman: そうなんだけどBrandiに話をしたら、彼女が興味を持ってさ。
Cedric: そりゃそうだろ、Brandi はコロラド出身だし、山に囲まれて育ったのだから。君は場違いだと感じるよ。
Norman: そんなことないよ。 新しいことに挑戦するのは良いことだろ。それにこの雑誌には初心者に役立つさまざまな情報が載っているんだ。
Cedric: まぁ、無茶な事をしなければね。
